Samsung has been a leader in the SSD space for several years, offering some of the best-selling products in the industry. The product range includes drives in all form factors aimed at consumers as well as professional users. The manufacturer's PRO lineup uses MLC (multi-level cell) NAND flash memory, whereas the EVO series uses TLC (triple-level cell) NAND. More recently, Samsung also launched the QLC-based (quad-level cell) QVO. Generally speaking, performance and endurance decreases as additional bits per cell are added to the NAND memory, but the cost is lower.
