Saints Row: The Third is a 2011 open world action-adventure video game developed by Volition and published by THQ. It is the third title in the Saints Row series. As in the previous games, the player-character leads the Third Streets Saints gang in a turf war against three rival gangs using a variety of weapons and vehicles in single-player and cooperative play. The series, and especially this title, is known for its crazy scenarios and lighthearted gameplay. It was released on November 15, 2011 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, and later abroad.

Grand Theft Auto IV (also known as GTA IV or GTA 4) is the eleventh title in the Grand Theft Auto series. The game was developed by Rockstar North and was published and released by Rockstar Games for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions were released worldwide to widespread hype on April 29, 2008. GTA IV has subsequently been awarded the Gaming World Record of the Most Successful Entertainment Launch of All Time, and has received numerous other awards and accolades.

Sleeping Dogs is an open-world third person action game developed by United Front Games and published by the Square Enix London Studios. Originally, the game was going to be the third in the True Crime series, but Activision canceled the game on February 9, 2011. Activision believed that it was “just not good enough” to compete in the open world genre, they later confirmed its cancellation and stated that it was as a result of the game’s high development budget and delays. Six months later, in August 2011, Square Enix bought the publishing rights from Activision, but renamed the game due to Square Enix not purchasing the True Crime IP.

The game is set in 1940s – 1950s Empire Bay, a fictional city based on New York City, and is available for PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360. The game was released on August 24, 2010 in North America and August 27, 2010 in Europe. The Mac OS X version of Mafia II: Director’s Cut was published by Feral Interactive and released on December 1, 2011
