HP, or Hewlett-Packard, is one of the world’s oldest and largest manufacturers of computer parts and accessories. However, the company is relatively new in the SSD space. HP solid state drives have often been based on reference designs and third-party controllers from e.g. Silicon Motion. One of the manufacturer’s early successes in consumer SSDs was (and is) the EX series of M.2 NVMe SSDs.
